Copy for step two: “Invite your team: they’ll see every channel you add.” @Maria Klein, good to ship?

DO
10:22 AM

Web takes two days. iOS and Android ship together the same week.

Ask in the chat. Oracul does the work.

Mention @Oracul in a thread or message it directly: it reads the conversation, shows every step and comes back with the answer, the task or the document. On a call, Nika answers by voice.

Answers in threads
Capabilities

The call ends.
The notes are already in the thread.

Audio and video in any channel or DM, screen sharing, recording with AI notes. Every call has its own thread, page, table and board beside the video — and Nika listens in and helps by voice.

Calls in channels and DMs

Start a call in a channel, a DM or a group DM. You can bring in someone who isn’t in the conversation: it rings for them, and they join in one click.

Screen sharing

Share your screen and it opens large on its own, with everyone in a strip below. Any tile goes full screen.

Recording and AI notes

Record audio or video, with or without AI notes. The recording lands in the call’s thread; the notes bring the transcript, summary, decisions and action items.

Thread, page, table, board

Every call has a side panel beside the video: a thread for links and questions, plus a page, a table and a board. Drag it out to 70% of the window.

Nika on the call

Invite Nika from the “…” menu: she hears everyone, answers by voice, and creates tasks and posts messages with the rights of whoever invited her.

Nothing slips by

A missed call shows up in Activity and as a push. On iPhone, an incoming call rings like a phone call, even on a locked screen.

Features

On every screen,
the same Teletype

The web, native apps for Mac, iPhone and Android, plus Windows and Linux. Messages, read marks and drafts follow you from device to device, and every app looks and works alike.

Security

Every company gets a Teletype of its own

An isolated instance in the region you choose, with its own database and encryption key. Files and backups encrypted, sign-in on your terms, and every admin action in a tamper-evident log.

Learn more about security

Your own instance

Nothing shared with other companies. Each company runs its own Teletype at its own address, with its own database, files and backups.

Separate for each company

Your workspace runs as an instance of its own. No other company's data is in it.

Untouched by your neighbors

Each company has its own memory and processor limits. Another company's load, failure, update or restore never reaches yours.

Your own address

Your workspace lives at your-company.teletype.cloud, over HTTPS. Between our servers, data goes through encrypted tunnels or a private network.

In the region you choose

You pick where your data is stored when you create the workspace. Messages, files and call recordings are kept on servers in that region.

Encryption and backups

Encrypted at rest, checked before it leaves. Files and backups are encrypted under your company's own key; every backup is verified, rotated and never kept forever.

Files encrypted at rest

Every file you upload, with its previews and video versions, is stored encrypted with AES-256 under your company's own key.

No direct links to storage

A file reaches the browser only through your workspace, after a permission check.

Backups every hour

A consistent copy of your workspace's data every hour, taken while everyone keeps working.

Checked before upload

Each copy passes an integrity check before it's uploaded. A damaged one never becomes a backup.

Encrypted before it leaves

Backups are encrypted on the server before upload and kept apart from it. Without a key, no backup is uploaded at all.

Nothing kept forever

24 hourly, 7 daily, 4 weekly and 3 monthly copies, in a ring. What you delete leaves the backups within about three months.

Sign-in

Sign in the way your company already does. A code by email, one Teletype account for every workspace, or your own identity provider.

Code by email

A one-time six-digit code or a link. The code is random and dies after five tries.

Sign in with Teletype

One account at app.teletype.cloud opens all your workspaces, and each workspace verifies the sign-in itself.

Your identity provider

Single sign-on through your OpenID Connect provider. Its client secret is stored encrypted.

Passkeys

Sign-in through your provider opens in the browser or the system's own sign-in window, where its passkeys work.

SCIM provisioning

Your directory adds and removes people. Someone switched off there can't renew a session here.

Groups become roles

Groups from your provider map to admin, member or guest. An owner is never granted or demoted from outside.

Access and audit

You decide who sees what. Roles, guests with an end date, access requests for pages, a say over outside apps, and a log nobody can quietly rewrite.

Four roles

Owner, admin, member and guest, in every workspace.

Guests with an end date

Scoped access without a full seat, with an optional expiry. Revoke it in one click.

Access requests

Someone who can't open a page asks for access; whoever can share it grants view or edit, or declines.

Outside apps on your terms

Apps act only with the rights a member approves. Admins cap what they can reach, block domains and revoke every grant at once.

Retention

Admins set how many days messages and attachments are kept, for the whole workspace or a channel.

Tamper-evident audit log

Every admin action is recorded, and each entry is chained to the one before it, so an edited entry breaks the chain.

Your whole team, one messenger. Free to start today.
